Celebrating Hariyali Teej at Eden Castle Preschool

We can never get tired of celebrating the monsoon, here at Eden Castle School & Early Years. We are celebrating Hariyali Teej on the 9th & 10th of August 2018, at both our campuses.

Traditionally, Haryali Teej is celebrated on the third day of the bright half of the North Indian Lunar month of Shraavana. As Shraavana (or Saawan) month falls during monsoon or rainy season when the surroundings become green, the Shraavana Teej is also called Hariyali Teej (Green Teej).Think of it as our welcome monsoon celebrations which symbolizes joy and prosperity in our lives.

All Edenites are requested to come dressed in traditional attire. The specific celebration date for the learning program levels will be intimated through another communication.
