At Eden Castle Preschool, our continuing effort is to truly listen to them
Reciting rhymes, singing songs and narrating stories to an audience is an integral part of the our Preschool curriculum. It is an opportunity for our children where ideas and feelings, accentuated with the use of distinctive style and rhythm is delivered through a public speaking activity with a focus on rhythm, alliteration some repetitions.
Children are also encouraged on Elocution, which helps children develop rhythm, self-expression, phonic awareness and memorization skills. Being proficient in memorization, patterns, and sequences in turn give students an advantage in learning new languages, reading comprehension and mathematics.
An additional bonus is that out little learners gain confidence in public speaking skills. Early exposure to presentation skills would make children feel more at ease with taking on new challenges and meeting new people.
