In nurturing Speaking Skills for Children, we also get to truly listen to them
Speaking Skills for Children
Reciting rhymes, singing songs and narrating stories to an audience is an integral part of the our preschool curriculum. It is an opportunity for our children where ideas and feelings, accentuated with the use of distinctive style and rhythm is delivered through a public speaking activity with a focus on rhythm, alliteration and repetitions. Speaking skills for children, when nurtured the right way, empowers them for life.
Children are also encouraged on Elocution, which helps children develop rhythm, self-expression, phonic awareness and memorization skills. Being proficient in memorization, patterns, and sequences in turn give students an advantage in learning new languages, reading comprehension and mathematics.
An additional bonus in nurturing it is that out little learners gain confidence in public speaking skills. Early exposure to presentation skills would make children feel more at ease with taking on new challenges and meeting new people.
